Money+ Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Plus Ventures LLC ("we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the Money+ mobile and web application (the "App").

By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms cover Money+ only. Other Plus apps — Skills+, Spark+ and Tools+ — have their own terms.

Money+ is a personal finance record-keeping app. It records your financial data in a Google Sheets spreadsheet in your own Google Drive, can connect to your financial institutions through Plaid to bring in transactions automatically, and organises data into spaces you can share with people you invite.

Categorisations, budgets, summaries, net-worth figures, detected subscriptions and projections are automated conveniences that may be wrong or incomplete. Your financial institution's own statements are authoritative. Reconcile against them before relying on any number, and especially before filing anything with a tax authority or making a financial decision.

To use Money+ you must be at least 13 years old, old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and old enough to hold the financial accounts you connect. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms.

Money+ signs you in with a shared Plus account, using Google or Apple. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it current
• Keep your credentials and your device secure, and not share them
• Accept responsibility for activity that occurs under your account
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation

The App offers an optional device lock using Face ID, Touch ID or a fingerprint. It protects the App on that device only; it is not a substitute for your device passcode or your account security.

Because your data lives in a file you own, some responsibilities are yours rather than ours:

• You grant Money+ access to the specific spreadsheet it creates, or that you open through the App. You can revoke that access at any time from your Google account settings; the App will stop working until access is granted again.
• Your Sheet is the source of truth. If you edit, restructure, rename or delete rows, columns or tabs directly in Google Sheets, the App may misread it or fail to write to it. Use the App's pause and resume workflow before editing the Sheet outside Money+.
• Do not let other software, scripts or add-ons write to the same Sheet while Money+ is connected. Concurrent writers can corrupt data, and we cannot protect against writers we do not coordinate with.
• You are responsible for the Sheet's own Google Drive sharing settings. Anyone you give Drive access to can read your financial data regardless of anything set inside Money+.
• You are responsible for your own backups. Google Drive's version history is the recovery mechanism, not ours.
• Google Sheets and Google Drive are provided by Google under Google's own terms. Their availability, quotas and behaviour are outside our control.

• Bank linking is provided by Plaid. You enter your banking credentials into Plaid's own interface, not ours, and that connection is also subject to Plaid's terms and privacy policy.
• By linking an account you confirm that you are the account holder or are authorised to access it, and you authorise us and Plaid to retrieve account and transaction data on your behalf.
• Connections break, and we do not guarantee otherwise. Banks change their systems, require re-authentication, rate-limit requests, or withdraw access with no notice. We do not guarantee that any institution will connect, stay connected, or deliver complete, accurate or timely data.
• You can unlink any institution at any time from Settings. Data already written to your Sheet stays in your Sheet.

Money+ is offered as a paid subscription. Tiers differ in how many financial institutions you may connect at once; the tiers available to you, their limits and their current prices are shown in the App before you purchase.

• Billing is handled by the app store you bought through — the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your card details. The price charged is the one the store presents at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases.
• If a payment fails, your subscription may enter a grace period during which access continues while billing is retried. If it is not resolved, the subscription lapses.
• When a subscription lapses, syncing and new bank links stop. Your Sheet is not deleted, altered or locked — it is your file and it remains fully readable in your Drive, with every row already written to it.
• We may change prices, tiers or limits. Changes apply from your next billing period, and we will give reasonable notice of a material change.
• During testing or early access, features including bank linking may be limited to invited participants, and availability may change without notice.

• Your device keeps an encrypted copy of your data for offline viewing. It may be out of date, and your operating system may remove it to reclaim space. It is erased when you sign out.
• Editing requires a connection and can fail if Google Sheets is unavailable. The App tells you when an edit did not land, rather than silently diverging from your Sheet.
• In rare cases an operation's outcome is uncertain — for example a write that may or may not have been applied. The App surfaces these for you to reconcile rather than guessing.
• Notifications (budget warnings, a weekly digest, a monthly preview) are a convenience. Delivery is not guaranteed; messages may arrive late, more than once, or not at all. Do not rely on them as an alert mechanism for anything that matters.

• A space can be shared with people you invite, with view-only or full access. Full access lets them add, edit and delete entries in that space.
• Sharing is your decision, and you are responsible for who you invite and for what they can then see. You can withdraw access at any time.
• Each space is backed by a Google Sheet in Drive. Review that file's Drive sharing settings as well — Drive access sits outside Money+'s controls.
• Only the owner of a space can remove it. Removing a space from Money+ never deletes the underlying spreadsheet.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of these Terms
• Access financial accounts you are not the holder of or authorised to access
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, our systems, or another user's account, space or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the App, or circumvent any rate limit, entitlement check, plan limit or usage restriction
• Use automated means to access or scrape the App without permission, or drive it at a volume that burdens the service or our providers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, API keys or credentials from the App
• Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the App or access to it
• Violate the terms of any third-party service the App relies on, including Google and Plaid

The App, including its design, features and functionality, is owned by Plus Ventures LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own purposes, subject to these Terms.

Your financial data is yours. We claim no ownership of the contents of your spreadsheet. You grant us only the access needed to operate the service for you — reading and writing the Sheet you connect, at your direction.

You may not use the Money+ or Plus trademarks or branding without authorisation.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM:

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
• WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS OR TIMELINESS OF ANY TRANSACTION, BALANCE, CATEGORY, BUDGET, NET-WORTH FIGURE OR OTHER FINANCIAL INFORMATION SHOWN
• WARRANTIES THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE
• WARRANTIES REGARDING ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE THE APP DEPENDS ON, INCLUDING GOOGLE, PLAID, APPLE AND YOUR FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory right you have as a consumer.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLUS VENTURES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING:

• Loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses
• Damages from your use of, or inability to use, the App
• Damages from reliance on any figure, categorisation, budget or summary the App shows — including tax penalties, overdrafts, missed payments, fees or investment losses
• Loss or corruption of data in a Google Sheet you control, or in the offline copy on your device
• The failure, unavailability, interruption or change of any third-party service, including a bank or institution connection
• Unauthorised access to your account, your device or your Google Drive
• Anything arising from your decision to share a space or a spreadsheet with another person

Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Money+ in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) twenty-five US dollars (US$25).

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Plus Ventures LLC and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of the rights of another party
• Accounts you connected that you were not authorised to connect
• Your decision to share a space or spreadsheet with another person

You may stop using Money+ at any time. Settings ▸ Delete my Money+ data unlinks every bank, forgets your Google connection and removes your spaces and profile from our servers. Step-by-step instructions are at withplus.co/money-plus/delete-account.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, for non-payment, or where needed to protect the service, other users or our providers. On termination your right to use the App ceases; your spreadsheet remains yours. Sections 9 through 12, and 14 through 16, survive termination.

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

We may also change, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature. Where a change would remove something you are paying for, we will give reasonable notice.

Where you obtained the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply. These Terms are between you and us — not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App and have no obligation to provide support for it. Support is provided by us, at support@withplus.co.

16.1 Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, it shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

16.2 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

16.3 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Money+ Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
